ABOUT COMPASS FOOD SOLUTIONS
Compass Food Solutions provides specialised support for Food businesses across Australia and Internationally including Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and USA.
Founder and Managing Director Tim Allman has more than 20 years of management experience across varying disciplines including export, project and change management, continuous improvement, vendor and supplier management, audit and risk management, food safety, quality, and systems management.
Tim has honed his craft at some of the biggest food businesses in Australia and globally, including Simplot Australia, the ASX-listed companies SunRice and Bega, the NYSE listed Campbell Soup company. Several of the roles involved extensive international travel to establish export markets, troubleshoot and resolve supply chain problems and to build and develop relationships and networks, many of which are still active.
Before establishing Compass Food Solutions, Tim was Export, Regulatory and Supplier Assurance Manager at Don Smallgoods, a Division of George Weston Foods Limited and part of the London Stock Exchange listed conglomerate, Associated British Foods.
In that role Tim developed the export program for the Don business with a range of products in 13 countries across the Asia Pacific region. Concurrently he onboarded new suppliers, 3rd party manufacturers’ and conducted all supplier approval and compliance audits both domestically and internationally.
